Finally got the evga 7600GT KO today!
First thing I ran was 3dmark 2005 was off to a good start and a good framerate then all of a sudden a lock up.. the after about 30 secs continue, this happend quite a bit during the benchmark and my score was :2178 WTH! i got better on my 6600gt!!! so i thought that it might be a 3dmark05 issue... I decided to start up BF2. Was going good for about 5 mins then a lockup/freeze for a few seconds. Ok thats not good!
Decided to run 3dmark2003 sure enough another lockup.. This time I used the worlds most valuable tool GOOGLE. Turns out my card is overclocked so much that the games do not like it.. So from stock core 600 i put it down to about 580 and left the video memory the same at 1560.
There I have it no lockups (on 3dmark 03 and 05 anways) have not tried BF2 yet or 3dmark06... But the 3dmark tests are BORING after doing them ao many times.
So far i got over 6000 on 3dmark06 (6101) from around 3700 -/+ on the old 6600GT.
