Computer temperature problem.

Hi, my computer is running at an AVERAGE of 102 degrees farenheit. I know it shouldn't be running that high. It is usually 70-74 degrees, but now it's so high. What can I do to cool down my PC? and what is causing this problem?

P.S. It slows down my PC and internet, as well.

im sure you heatsink needs some ned heatspreader i recomend artic silver this will give great colloing.

if you are new and dont feel comfortable applying new heatspread,i suggest you go out asap and get a new heatsink(new)this will already have headspreder on it.

youre cpu is in danger of being badly damaged at that temp.

turn off you pc and dont turn it back on till you get a new one.

p.s you may actualy have alotof dust in the heasink/fan check that aswell.

If it is 120F that is fine. 120F is only 49C, which is fine. There is no way is was running 74-75F before.

Mine runs at 32ºF all the time.

Without liquid cooling!
