    Graphics Card Question

OK, so... Ever since BF2 came out I've wanted to get it.. But I never saved my money to buy a new graphics card... For so long I've been using a Intel Graphics card on my Windows XP Home Edition. But tonight I went to www.srtest.com where I tried to see what I needed to run BF2. Of course it was my graphics card, it recommended a graphics card but I'm not sure if it will run it properly, take a look and tell me... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814139166 Your help will be greatly appreciated thanks!

yes, that video card will run bf2. But it will run it on the lowest settings it can go. How much ram do you have in your computer? My friend has the same card and he can play all settings low but it is still playable.

Are you sure you have a PCI slot and not a AGP or PCI Express?

dont go for a 5700LE..thats like bare minimum...for like $40 more u could get a 6600gt which is far better, thus making ur bf2 experiece more enjoyable

btw doesnt the LE stand for light edition right?

yes, that will play at LOW settings. make sure you have an AGP slot if you get that. some people with integratd have PCie.

as said by conscript, for a little more you could play at medium settings.

for info: i used to have 512ram, and that card and I could play at lowest settings about 30-50fps consant. with a gig of ram and that card, i got like 70+ fps constant, on lowest settings.

How do I figure out if I have a PCI slot??? I don't know how to look at my RAM either, I did but it has been so long I just remember to go to Start>Run but don't remember what to type in...

                How do I?

OK.. I figured it out I have 2.80 GHz, thats all I can figure out, please help me on how to configure it out

Alright I seriously figured it out I went to start>run>dxdiag... My memory is 510 RAM.
