The GTKO I believe is just a factory overclocked GT, otherwise its the same as the GT.
It also has a better cooler, because the 7600 GT's are known to run rather warm

ex: mine is 72 C right now!

if they fix that than hail ATI :)
        i had an xtasy 9600, a HIS 9600xt, a 9800pro and (currently) an ati x800xt aiw.

        I've
        N E V E R,
        E V E R

had a flickering problem. That isn't to say that ATI hasn't had issues (if you tried to "wear" NVG's in BF2: SF through any of about five patches you were SOL) but I wonder whether your griefing the company over a HW conflict they might not have caused.

Reliability has never been an issue, either--my two brothers are still running with the 9600xt and the 9800pro at going on two and three years now, through a couple of transplants.

nvidia has made some great cards--i had a geforce 256 and a 2mx back in "teh day". The market constantly shifts, and the only sure bet you can get is to get the best darn deal today, and don't upgrade (or even think about it) again for two more years.

I know this seems off-topic, but I didn't want to make a new thread.

I have a GeForce 6500, and I'm wondering if I can play BF2 on it. 'Cause the system requirements page says that they only support (.............).

GeForce 6500 isn't on there. Will it still work?

Yeah, it will work. Bf2 requires for nvidia a 5700 or higher but you will be probably running on low.

For sure you will be running all low, and at a bad resoloution, but it will run.

pff, lol, my friend has a terrible computer and he runs BF2 on it (read Compaq Presario w/ a good processor, same as mine AMD Athlon 64 3400+, but 512 MB mem and an intergrated Ati Express Radeon 200 Series!) it runs, but kinda laggy and it shows. http://bf2s.com/player/68794338/ those are his stats. see for yourself.
