7600GT is the best ~$200 card

7900GT best under ~$299

x1800XT 512MB best ~$330+

x1900XT best ~$400+

It depends on your price range frankly.

problem with ati is the flickering graphics in d3d games, that is a reason alone to go nvidia....

and im not a fanboy i had 2 ati cards and both of em flickered......

if they fix that than hail ATI :)

are you serious? the 7600GT should be getting wayyy more proformance than just meduim settings. It should all go maybe high depening on the resolution you put it as.

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ @ 2.5 Ghz
2 gigs of Corsair RAM (to Wreck: It was the cheapest at the time!)
eVGA 7600 GT

I play at 1024*768 on all high, maybe 60 fps average, dips into high 40s on full 64 man servers.

mostly likely. I went from 1 gig to 2 gigs and noticed an improvement in that I could turn all options on high, I loaded the map fairly quicker, and I didn't get the usual lag when I first joined a game. My FPS also went up a bit as well.

7600 cards are all the same core, but the GS has inferior ram that is clocked much lower than the GT, and the Core is also clocked much lower than the GT. The low clocks make it a very slow card in comparison to the GT.

The GTKO I believe is just a factory overclocked GT, otherwise its the same as the GT.

BBT (Big Brown Truck, thats what we call UPS in our area) is quick in our area. I've never had a problem with them as a shipper. USPS is dreadfully slow, and Fedex takes too long to deliever. BBT's center is only 30 miles away, whereas Fedex is 50 miles away.
