i think my comp is sick...help

Well, first of all.... i get a lotta different screens when i boot up my computer.... sometimes it says "Plz insert System CD and press enter"... so i do it and press enter, but it doesnt work so i have to restart and hope it doesnt do that again... another screen i get is one that says sometime about "Beginning phyiscal dump on memory..." (thats all i remember) and another screen said something about my hard drive about to crash and i should back it up and replace it.... uhm...the real problem is when my computer *(i think hard drive)* revs up really fast (only for like a second) and but clicks and slows down... this happens in like 3 seconds but does it over and over...and sometimes my computer might slow down and freeze... does anyone get any of these problems? i think i need a new hard drive... but it seems like if i get a new hard drive, my computer will still suck... before i was thinking about just getting a new ocmputer... cuz this is the one im on now...:
    3300+ AMD 64
    1GB
    160 GB Ultra DMA
    6600GT agp

my computer is a bit slow... do computers ever just like slow down? cuz i dont wanna spend all this money on an AGP card or a hard drive if my computers not gonna work any faster..

    #1, do a complete spyware/virus check. (http://housecall.trendmicro.com)

#2, do a checkdisk/scandisk to check for bad sectors (My computer->Right click HDD, choose properties->Tools tab->Check Now)

#3, completely re-install Windows if your hardware turns out to be ok

Your computer sounds like it is hurting...

          1. Buy yourself loads of CDs/DVDs/USB memory pens/borrow a portable hard drive.

          2. Backup copy all your pictures, movies, documents, and install files. DONT backup full games etc. And dont forget to copy all your porn.

          3. If you got several disks (like C: and D:), format the disks that has NOT got windows installed on it. Go My Computer -> Right click on the disk -> Format.. and then format the disk. Find your windows cd, and turn off your computer.

          4. Put the cd in the drive, and boot up. If the computer doesnt start from the disk, press the button that launches the one time boot menu. (it shows in the beginning what button this is). Follow the instructions, and reinstall windows.

          5. You now have a completely fresh version of windows.

NB: This will delete everything on your computer (besides what you copied). You may also need to install drivers for your video card, soundcard, keyboard and so on. These should be on a cd that came with your computer.

          6. Now fill in the remaining files, reinstall bf2 and patch it. If you still get these problems, there is something wrong with your hardware. Usually the ram, motherboard or harddrive.
