    Since you have gotten XP installed you are have been using the same bios? If thats the case try a different bios, and not just the latest one.

    The last thing I would say you could do is RMA the motherboard.

      Im not exactly sure how to change the bios? Also would there be any specific bios's you would recommend? This seems like a good idea. Not sure what RMA is though...im kind of a noob when it comes to doing stuff like this with comps.

        RMA = return merchandise authorization

        basically arranging to have the motherboard replaced by the manufacturer via the retailed you purchased it from

            lol, too bad, its quite frustatring. I posted all around the net but have always got the same answers like "update your bios" or "turn of cool n quite". well if i find anything of use ill let you know.
