Unless your running 16x12 or higher resolution, or have a 24" or larger monitor, SLI and CF are not worth the money, and generally buggy or prohibitively expensive.

Great PSU, I have the model one better than it, but on a 2 grand budget he can probably do better. A Forton or Seasonic might be a better choice in the $120+ range.

And yea.. correct me if im wrong, but doesnt CF work more efficiently or something??

SLI is a more efficient system than crossfire. The thing is Nvidia patented it and forced ATI to use an external dongle. It is possible to run ATI cards in SLI mode on and SLI board with the right type of driver hack that pretends they are SLI cards.

ATI can run crossfire without an external dongle just like Nvidia didn't need an SLI bridge this whole time. Seems Nvidia is screwing everyone all the way around with this issue.

20.1 viewsonic lcd monitor
should be pretty nice

I am getting the x2 3800+ The 400+ performs better in gaming.. but i listen 2 music and play games at the same time and do a lot of graphics/music/video editing.

lol everybody would get good nice alternative ram like mushkin too if you didnt have to put in double the effort and double the price into it.....
