Video card question

Hello i am looking to upgrade my graphics card i just don't know what to get,
i have been thinking about getting the ati radeon x1600 pro 256mb agp (i need an agp card)
i want a card that can run bf2 in high detail without causing lag also i want a card that will last me a good few years i would like to see everybodies opinions about getting the x1600 also recommendations on other cards also if you know any good graphics card shops in the uk post your links ty for any replies

Well, the best video card for AGP is the 7800GS. Support is really waning for AGP, as all are moving over to PCI-E.

well, i would make sure you have at least a gig of Ram MINIMUM for high settings, and probably 2gigs if you want good constant framerates. (i recommend 2gigs).

the best AGP card is the 7800gs, but if you just want bf2 at high settings the 256mb x1600pro MAY be able to do that. a 6800gs is also very good. or an x800gto. those are all good cards, what is your budget and the rest of your sysatem specs?

7800gs would probably be your best bet, depending on your budget. I love my 6800gs, but it won't run everything on high. It does all medium settings at 1280x1024 at solid 50fps, though.
