Pixel Pipelines Setting. . . How to?

My video card is a Sapphire Ati X1600PRO 256MB and it supposedly has 12 pixel pipelines, although ATiTool v0.25 says it has 4 that are active. I can double click on the text "Active Pipelines" (next to the value "4") and a dialog box named "Register Dump" appears, allowing me to change the default text in the text field, which is "0x0".

Is this where I change the amount of pixel pipelines that are active? If so, what do I insert in the text field? But if not, then how do I go about changing it?

Three pixel shader units per pipeline gives you the 12 pipelines your looking for.

It could also be a bug or driver issue, but everything seems fine you you.

Not to go off-topic, but where do you work at Pax River? I was attached to VX-1 from '98-'00.
