Try reinstalling BF2, it seems like you have an invalid installation, or accidently deleted some neccessary files.

Definatly re-install the game and patch from fresh, at least start by doing that. Post back after re-installing if its still crashing.Comment

I agree with the other guys, Its either that or you have two programs that wont run together. I bet that once you get it up and running it lags out the wazoo, theres just to much net stuff running. Also, when a program says to close all programs before installation you should really close all programs. I always do that and disconnect the line going to the router, hub, modem, jack or which ever is easiest to get to. Good Luck. . . . .RedComment
