Badly Need Computer Help!

ok, ever since I got a agp nvidia 6600 128MB (NON GT) I been playing on an FPS from 15-25 on every map in bf2, but ALL my setting are on low or off, 800x600. But I have updated my card with the newest drivers and such. Even in CSS on low and 800x600 resoultion i still get 15-25 fps. My 9200 ran better than this card and in bf2. Plz help! :cry:

My specs are:
AMD althon 2400+ XP
1 Gig of RAM
AGP Nvidia 6600 128MB (non Gt)
300 Watt PSU
K7S5A Pro Mainboard

Have you uninstalled your old ATI drivers? I think there's some Driver cleaner out there. Some body who replies to this thread might know.

your PSU might be downclocking the card, though i do not know.. (i doubt it).

your cpu is also a huge bottleneck.

His CPU is not a bottleneck, and a dialog box would pop up if it were downclocking his card.

Make sure your ATI drives are uninstalled, google for Driver Cleaner Pro.

Your MOBO manufacturer’s website would be a good start.
