    Graphics cards

So what is really better Nvidia's 7800's/7900's or ATI's X1800/X1900 XT/XTX cards? is SLI better or Crossfire.

Which company is better, which card is best for the best gaming performance giving best everything and very good fps? no bias.

I am an nvidia fan, but asside that From what i have heard and read the X1900XTX is the fastest card on the marked to date. As for sli or crossfire i am not sure.

1900XTX is better by a nose.

SLI has better chipsets and more of the bugs worked out.

i agree the 1900XTX would be the fastest and the best.

well let me do some short answers

x1900xtx is best single card, it is fastest, best video quality, and can render HDR and AA at the same time.

as for the multi card platform/chipset I would have to go with nvidia. they have a better dual card platform and with Crossfire not only is it not as good but you have to disable it for video (avivo).

              Re: Graphics cards

x1900XTX = fastest single card.. but CF has a lot more problems than SLI, so if you want dual cards stick with Nvidia.

Just buy one card for starters, it's more economic, then when the time comes get another one. But anyway ill say GET the X1900XTX on its own, but it's loud and hot so prepare first.

I get what your saying, but why do people seem to always choose Nvidia over ATI, I have a Nvidia card right now and it performs really well for me.

Biased people, personally I try both, first i had a ATI 9800 now i have two nvidia 7800gtx, so ill follow the pattern and go with ATI when DX10 is out.
