    Just bought a new PS

I was in Office Depot today and noticed they had some clearance rack. Picked up an Antec trupower 430w for $27. they had 2 left.

I know its not your huge gaming monster PS, but this was a 50w increase over what I had before (trupower 380).(+8 amps more on the 12v rail). I always felt i was underpowered after adding a couple more fans and a 2nd optical drive. Now it should be ok. I think I can get away with less (imo) since i have no pci cards installed and my ati x800xtpe draws less power than a comparable nvidia card.

430W is fine. your comp won't draw more than 300W anyway, and that's a great, reliable, psu with good protection for your more expensive pieces.

oh, and you can't beat that price... :)
