well there are the temperature drops for one, and i ind it more reliable than fans because the fans die over time.

For a decent setup that isn't a piece of crap, I'd say between 250-300 easy. Just ask lil jimmy.

Decent setup will run anywhere between $150 to $300, depending on if you want to cool the CPU, 1 GFX card, or 2 GFX Cards. Mine was in the $250 range if I remeber correctly.

Beware though, things rarely go easy. It usually take alot of work and frustration to get things working right.

I didn't buy a kit, I put all the parts together individualy.

Kits are generaly eaiser, but usually perform much worse.

Water cooling's too expensive and you have to buy a large case. You really only need it for dual cores processors or Pentium 4s. With new increases in cpu efficiency, we'll see a good step backwards to practical cooling. With Conroe, you can get the same results on air as an AMD on phase change.

2 Shrouds
2 120mm Dellaor Fans
Lygon 1/2 inch tubing
Swiftech Hydra X Coolant
Steel worm clamps
Now i think thats it pleas tell if im missing anything
did you get a block for your motherboard or not?

my friend is running a 3800 dual core, 2 gigs ocz gold ram and an evga 7800GT and he has overheating problems, his game randomly crashes, and the other day a blue screen came up saying, cpu temp extremely high! he definitely needs some form of liquid cooling, his fans just dont cut it.

Heh, so you know first hand what conroe will and won't do. Don't believe the hype untill it's actually out.

Liquid is not necessary for just dual cores, it does wonders on single cores like mine. You can't tell me that air would allow me my overclock at 30C idle and 38C load, that would be impossible without liquid.

Do not get a block for your MOBO, it is a huge restriction and will hurt your cooling performance.
