    VIdeo Cards

Hi right now im using the reg Sony Vaio video card and its **** when in bf2. i mean it works fine on low graphics and even on taht sometimes has lag. But when i want to go to med or high graphics which are awsome when i play i can bairlt move . its so anoying. Does anyone know a good video card that will at least let bf2 run cleanly on med setting. Also one that is not to expencive.

Look in your manuel or look on the sony site and search for your serial number. The model number is probably on a sticker on the bottom of it as well. And are we talking about a notebook/laptop Pc here? If so I'm afraid your stuck with the graphics you've got.

Yeah there are some new laptops with the upgradeable interface. I dont think any vaio's do though.

I believe this is something you should call sony about to see if they can upgrade your laptop.

Good, you have AGP. What is your budget?

                    Re: VIdeo Cards

You could get an Nvidia: 6600 series card, my spare PC has one and runs fine at medium (CPU with it is an xp2400 and 1gb of ram). There probably the entry level card to play Bf2 decently. Or if you prefere ATi something like an x800 series card.
Remember when you're buying it must be AGP.
And dont assume higher numbers are better, an Nvidia 7300 is not faster than the lower numbered 6800!
Generally the 1st number in the series name is the card generation and the second number is how fast the card is in the series

                    example

6200= generation 6 Gpu and the 2 means its a slow card in the series.
7900= generation 7 Gpu and the 9 means its a fast card in the series.

Anyway post your budget and then we can find the card that fits you best
