Going with a new desktop!

Well I started looking at some computers and im building my own desktop, I just wanted to get an opinon on how this will play bf2, sp etc

Memory: - DDR (400) 3200 - 2 GB (2 pcs 1GB) Corsair w/ Heatsink
Western Digital Raptor WD740GD 74GB 10,000 RPM Serial ATA150
ViewSonic 17" VA702B TFT LCD (Black)
Antec True Power 2 550 SLI ATX 2.01 550W Power Supply
Thermaltake 120X120X25mm Case Fan Ball Bearing
Antec Performance One P160W ATX Mid-Tower w/Window No Power Supply

Just wanted some opinons on how everything would run on BF2, CS:S if you have it, etc..

Any comments or opinons would be great. And yes, im not getting a laptop after long tough thinking...I think that was the right way to go.

Get the 19" viewsonic, if your going to spend that much on a nice system you might aswel get a decent size monitor. :)

Anyways, your computer will run CSS. It doesn't take much to run that game nicely. BF2 will run very very nice. No clue on res's, but I'm sure you could get away with high on 1280x1024

Viewsonic VX922 19" LCD.

Ditch the MSI and get a board that doesn't suck like Asus or DFI.

Why does everyone buy Corsair ram? It totally drives me nuts.

Yup i can recommend the Viewsonic 19" VX922 2ms, i just got it.. look here if you wanna know more about it.. but i would definatley recomend it to anyone that games.. or just wants a nice looking (both image and physically) screen.

I was expecting it to be a great Mobo, since I asked a someone on a recommendation on a good mobo and he specified this. I'll ask him one more time, but what would anyone else recommend?

I will look into the 19' viewsonic :) gotta budget :cry:

Don't buy msi, I did and have regretted it ever since. Go with the asus a8n32 deluxe.
