yeah everythings compatible, but i think your setup is a bit unbalanced. a $300 cpu and a $50 mobo? mabey its just me, but that doesnt seem right. I would recomend either getting cheaper ram or a cheaper cpu so you can get a case and mobo from safer more reputable companies. I jsut recently built a pc practicly oposite of yours, with only a $200 cpu, $80 for ram, $150 for case, and $150 for mobo.
BTW explain you graphics situation. So you have to wait longer to save up for the 7600? If i were you, i would buy a 7600gs now, and save more money to get a 7800 or 7900. But thats just me

the first couple months or so i would just use this new computer for "small" gaming purposes (without bf2) and use the one im on right now for bf2.... the only reason why im getting a new computer is so i can have my own without my parents/sisters using it... (and have it in my own room)

The ASRock is fine and uses a ULI chipset. You won't to change your case though. Buy a cheaper one that doesn't come with a power supply. Add a 500W+ from a reputable company. You could save over $100 if you go pick up a CRT 19" monitor. If you're going LCD, get a 17" 4-8ms for $200.

Or if you really want that case get it and bin the psu. Then do as suggested above and get a good quality psu.

if its under 8ms it seems fine...i really dont know how u can tell the difference between 2ms and 6ms....

the Viewsonic VX922 has 2ms and only 650:1, it costs $329.99 + $10 shipping
the benQ has 6ms but has 700:1, it only costs $219.99 Free S/H*

why is the BenQ so cheap? its almost as good as viewsonic one...

If you're looking for a great case, get a Thermaltake Tsunami. It has two 120mm fans and they're easy to replace with more powerful ones.

RAM, CPU and Monitor are all very good (the monitor is great, i just got it myself). The case isnt great. I would suggest the Antec P180 or the Thermaltake Tsunami. HDD is fine, as for the mobo i would suggest the Asus A8N32 SLI Deluxe or Premium.

The BenQ should be good. Those cases are overpriced though. You can find something for $60-70 that has 120mm fans, do a search and see what you like. As for a power supply, I suggest the Antec TruePower II 550W for $75. It's good quality, SLI certified, and quiet. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103931

Corsair is like the Wallmart of "enthusiast brands." Thats not to say they are bad, but they are not exceptional, and usually go for the bling bling factor more than raw overclocking performance. For instance the ridiculously stupid ram with flashing lights on them that are so huge many 3rd party heatsinks are incompatible because the ram is like an extra 1/4 inch taller.

Corsair is by no means a bad brand, but they are the "safe bet" among enthusiast ram, and dont seem to be pushing the limit anymore.

Brands like G.Skill, OCZ and Mushkin (few others as well, also a few up and comers that are starting to make a name for themselves) still seem to be carrying the crazy enthusiast torch.

It really depends on the ram chips. For Fuxy's budget setup, Corsair is a good choice because they're cheap and have low latencies at lower frequencies. You only want to spend $200+ on ram when you want the performance to match the rest of your setup. Since A64s like low latencies, leaving your ram sub 250MHz is fine. I'd rather spend the extra $100 on a good stepping cpu and get Corsair.
