That's not to bad....I bought all my stuff from newegg.com....You've got me on the vid card, but the rest I think I have you beat...plus I got a monitor...Sorry, I'm sounding like I'm bragging here....I'm just trying to make the point of building being better than buying

buying a computer like that is a good start if you want to get into your own customization. because from there, you can upgrade in the future to your liking, i got my semi customized computer made from ABS Computers a few years back, and since then i think i have replaced/added about half the hardware myself.

i got mine thru ibuypower.com, but its a laptop, AMD 64 4000+ 1.5 GB RAM PC3200; 15.4 xbrite display; 80 GB hard drive 7200 RPM; ATI 9700 PRO Limited Edition, the rest is not really relative, but it only cost me $1295,

Exactley, I looked the specs on my PC up with a custom company...this thing would have cost me around $3000!!!! to buy it from a custom company...man thats where the money is!

Always build your own, that way you know EXACTLY what you have and you dont get ripped. There are plenty of forums tht offer simple step by step help to putting together a solid gaming rig.
Nice buy though, next time build it yourself, it's fun and relieves stress (for me atleast)!
