How to fix jerkyness problem??? Please Help!

I read in another thread another guy having trouble with jerkyness and all his computer specs he noted, mine are higher. I have 3.06 Ghz w/ HT 1 gig mem 128 video mem and a 2-3 mb high speed connection. And when I am running game in single player mode... there is ZERO jerkyness. But when I play on any server online, the jerkyness makes it virtually impossible to play.

So I was hoping that someone could help me figure out what I can do.

    Thanks

I have this problem occassionally. It actually happened to me today. I can play the game on all high with 64 players and no lag. I think the problem is the server and its connection. I usually play on US servers when im not playing on my clan's servers and on these US servers my pings range from 5-30. But I do have the jerky syndrome sometimes but I dont think the problem is on your end.

Check your windows services to see if your wireless is disabled.

Start Menu > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > Wireless Zero Configuration Stop and Disable via the Properties tab.

Look into getting two gig of ram.

Find servers with 50 ping or faster.

              Increase your upload.

Defrag, scan for errors and run maintance regularly.

And finally that video card may not have enough memory, try to find a 16 pipe card that is 6800 class or better with 256 mb of video memory.

single player and multiplayer are different, so you really can't compare on or the other.
