I have heard that having a large (20"+) lcd monitor with a fast response time gives people an edge over other gamers. Is this true? I remember a thread on this a while back but the search doesn't work to well, i know a lot of threads are being closed because of reposts but i couldn't find this old thread.

Ok.. well from experience i just moved up from a small Dell monitor to very nice ViewSonic 19". And yes, it helps, brights are brighter, colours are more vivid, etc etc. So i would say yes, i have also notices performace increase.. dont know why this is.. but i have.. hope that helps. :)
