What do you mean? How long to they physicaly last? Or how long until they are obsolete?

physically. i just got my video card about a few months ago and now i c graphical glitches in the game. not just bf2, but in all my games.

Several years. I've got an old TNT2 card that's about 6 years old that is still chugging away.

really.....
well my temp. core right now is 55C and during games it is around the 70s and 80s. is tht good or bad. should i put a fan next to my comp>?

Low 70s is normal, 80s is high.

for me...my current vid card is like 3-4 years old and the dvi output is gone so im stuck with the analog thigny

but my old Geforce2 mx400 is pretty good (had it for like 4-5 years and its still pretty good in my other comp) and speaking of TNT, just until last summer i use to use an old Riva TNT 16mb video card (didnt kno which drivers to use) and its still working but i just upgraded it

Yea i also have an old TNT2 32MB.. runs fine. So many years. But if you are running it into the 80's then that is too high if you ask me. The lower you can get it the better.. i miself wouldnt want my GPU running over 60C when in use. The lower the temps, the longer that they last.

Probably heat related. Open up your case and blow the dust out. I built my new system last June and did a case cleansing a few weeks ago. Surprising the amount of dust that builds up inside of a case in just a few months.
