ok this is gonna be the most stupid question ever but im kinda a newb like that ok so dont laugh at me. Anyway i was wondering if it was safe to buy used video games...is it possible to get any viruses or spyware or anything because it has been in another persons computer.

Buying and using single player games second hand is perfectly safe.
Online games are typically registered, and isn't a great idea to buy.

It is impossible to get a virus/spyware from a game using a CD. These disks are ROM.. meaning Read Only and are unable to write to the disk. Hence, no viruses.

I dont see how it could be a problem. getting a used game as long as its not a copy of the game or a burned copy rather. That I would assume we be the only way to get viruses from the source but people are tricky, tricky...
