i just bought a logitech mx518. i was wondering if anyone else has the mouse and what settings you use. how do you have to buttons programmed and what dpi do you use. i currently have the scroll wheel when pressed down to reload. besides that i was wanting suggestions. i've always used the cheap rolly ball mice. this is my first good mouse. thanks in advance.

used the highest dpi available it make you more accurate, i dont have mx518 but something similar. -

it goes up to 1600dpi. it has buttons on the mouse to switch on the fly in game. i put it on the highest (1600) but it seems that even if i slightly move the mouse my characer goes all over the place. do i just need to get used to it or is there another setting i need to change. i think i have it set to around 800dpi now.Comment

hey dude,
I have the same mouse, leave the dpi at 1600 and adjust your mouse sensitivity in game. Then bind the appropriate keys in your control options in BF2 by first pressing the original function key, then esc, then the replacement function key of your choice. This mouse is awesome and wait till you get it broken in, enjoy it!
