    doesn't having a better mouse give u a better advantage? my mouse is like 400dpi and the mx518 is like 1600dpi, so i guess sniping could be a lot easier

      it's easier in the sense that you don't have to move your mouse as much. the higher the dpi, the less movement you have to do to get the cursor to move.

      Higher dpi is generally better for FPS, because you need to move the mouse very quick, and high dpi means you don't have to move it much.

      Lower dpi is generally better for precision movements, such as editing photos, and some games, generally where you have to snipe alot.

      The best way to go is to get a mouse that allows you to adjust on the fly. 1600 dpi for running around, etc. then when you get to your good sniping spot, you hit a button and you have 400 dpi for sniping.

        oh ok thanks yeah i saw the mx518 and it allows you to switch dpi on the fly, but i need to scrounge up some cash first for it, its 80 bucks canadian up here, unless i order it but my parents are sick of me ordering comp parts
