    Re: What mice?

Do you use your fingertips to control the mouse? I am guessing you dont, the MX1000 isnt designed for that, but the copperhead is.
Exactly, everyone holds the mouse a bit differently and controls it differntly so naturally different mice work better for different people....

Theres not really one BEST mouse, many are better than others but its really just preference.

Loads of suggestions, I will look into the MX518 more maybe, see what that's like. Problem is, around my area, there aren't any shops that have these mice's on display and the only visual soruce I can rely on is the net.

Thanks for the replies all :)

I Go between parents houses every other week, and i have a mx518 at my dads and a G5 here at my moms. I realy dont like the G5 compared to the 518. The texture is gritty and sort of sandpaper like. I also dont like the way it moves, nor the scroll wheel. And the weight cartrige thing is a bit anoying as the cartrige falls out frequently, which is why i dont use it.

                MX518 FTW!

MX518 PWNS ALL! haha no but seriously its a great mouse. If you do get it, check out the egg for great prices and reviews on it. The mouse has a nice long cord, great feel, solid quality, and an assortment of buttons for binding. My specs are in my sig...

MX518 or G5 for the feel, the feel for the newer mouses are quite strange and unsual.

I got taht MXLaser (1000) combination with the Logitech Wireless keys, I think its called the MX3100 something. That mouse is really accurate, but to heavy for my taste.

I prefer the Old Skool mouse of Logitech, the MX300 :) Lightning fast on the pad and accurate enough for BF2.

G5 for me.......... MX1000 is heavy, depends what you like....dunno about MX518....1 thing to be said about G5 is that you can change sensitivity on the fly, which i find useful for sniping or heli

Yes but the scroll wheel on the G5 has left and right movment which u can assign a keystroke to! Which I prefer to the second thumb button on my old MX510

                                Re: What mice?

I have a Logitech G7 and love it. I honestly don't think I'll ever buy a different mouse. If this one breaks, I'll just buy another G7.

cordless, accurate, quick-release battery packs, thumbdrive-like receiver for when you're on the go, very light for a cordless laser, quick recharge on the battery packs, etc. etc. etc.

Only downside to the mouse is the cost. Some people complain about losing a couple buttons, but they ignore that they've added tilt action to the wheel which you can use to replace whatever you had on the buttons you lost.
