You're right, Copperhead is not comfortable in hand. It's not meant to be a handrest, but agile and fast to be moved with fingertips. And I can tell you it is perfect. More you use it, the more you'll appreciate Razer's shape. Some people though just can't stand Razer's desing just like I could never use Logitech MX. I recommend to compare different mouses in a local shop, but if you find it impossible, Copperhead is not a bad choice at all.

Dont get the G5 or the diamondback, I have heard lots of complaints about those mice usually about the buttons. Some of the buttons dont work in game, others are hard to use and others you accidently press. The diamondback is an alright mouse but you will accidently hit the side buttons a lot. The G5 only has one thumb button and I have heard complaints about the scrool wheel.

I use the mx510 which I highly reccomend, but I think the mx518 is the same thing only with higher DPI and its a laser mouse I think. I haven't tried the 518, but if it is an mx510 that is a laser instead of optical, go for that. Best part is that it is cheap. Also, I use my fingertips to control the mouse, and the mx510 is designed great for that.

Who cares man. It's only a mouse. Any mouse, as long as is optical and has wheel will do good.

well I find that the only game(s) that gaming mice help you in is games that you get good framrates. AKA. counter strike is probably the biggest. bf2: not so much.

                      Re: What mice?

I have the mx610, it is definitely not a gaming mouse. The buttons are mostly placed so your fingers have to reach for them, and the battery really weighs down the mouse so its harder to move. If you are going to buy it, i suggest playing single player for a week to get used to it, because the difference between a regular optical and this mouse is big enough to destroy your K/D ratio.

I prefer one that is shaven and declawed.

If you like a slightly smaller mouse like you have now, I would recommend the Logitech MX310

I use the Razer Copperhead. It was way too expensive for what it is but it's a good mouse. It was a big change from my old MX500 but now I have much better control since you move it using your fingers instead of your wrist. I notice I'm a little bit more precise in CSS (more headshots) and a little bit better at BF2 infantry combat since getting it.

Also, get a good mousepad. I use a plastic surface one but some people like the old cloth surfaces.

mine is simple, economic and reliable and weights like 5 grams.

oops forgot my other mouse, the cordless one.
