i bought a new ati x1300 512mb ddr2, and it had artifacts and would overheat. i bought a new 7600gs and have had no problems whatsoever. it only raises 3 degrees during and after gaming. nvidi has always done me right, whereas my experiences with ati have not been that good. that is why i base my opinion on nvidia.

The X1300 Pro is not a great card.... You could have gotten a much better ati card with not much price difference.

i will say this, the ati's colors were deeper and looked truer than any nvidia i had ever used. milkdrop, in winamp, looked much more vivid with light overspilling onto other colors which such quality i had never seen in an nvidia. but it couldnt perform under the strain of bf2... go figure. "it is 'optimized' for nvidia cards," is what i heard before its release and well afterwards.

i had been told by others that the x1300 was a lil slow, but it couldn't even play bf2 on low settings. my new nvidia can play with all settings on high w/ very lil framedrop once everything is loaded after spawning, and it was only $2 more than the x1300.

yea, they probably got a deal with EA for specialization with their cards... Thats incredibly annoying!!!

im just use to nvidia and all of its settings so nvidia for me..and 6800 is a pretty great card

I'm using a GeForce 6100 right now and I'm not a happy camper! My 9800 Pro was better!

LMAO, I got a pci - e mobo and had to get rid of my 9800... The GeForce 6100 is my integrated graphics, waiting for X850XT )

yeah I have a 6100 as well ON MY SHUTTLE! and some day ill replace it, but for now its fine.

Yea, on all low settings it can run it suprisingly smooth... Its somewhat decent, just not enough for a full gaming PC.

I cant wait for my new pc to get here.. WOOT!! hehe.. my bro is getting mine.. so he will be stuck with ye ol' AGP.. while i have the far superior Pci-e... gimme a 7, gimme a 6, gimme a 0,0,G,T.. wot does it spell? 7600GT.. :p eh eh eh..
