Aah nice find Boon...an extra 6 quid isnt going to break the bank.

How does that compare to Undies Sapphire card from a few posts above cos I was swaying towards that.

Also is aria a trustworthy online retailer because thats something else I need a bit of guidance with too..dont want to get ripped off when i finally choose a gpu.

I think the ATI just has the edge but i myself use the 7800gt and couldnt recommend it enough, great card, great performance and the prices these days are a snip.

It's not really worth it to buy a 7800GT anymore. The 7900GT is usually around the same price if not less, and if it costs more it's only because the store is trying to make a bit more off it since it's so popular. Plus the 7900GT will perform around the same as a 7800GTX, and run cooler.

On the UK sites I looked at most 7900GTs were right around £200 as well.

The only game I can't run with maxed out setting on 1280*1024 with my 7900GT is Oblivion.
