nvidia card for under £200..help!

I'm seriously thinking about building my first comp and was going to start with a PCI-E gpu (nvidia) and build the rest around that,any suggestions on the best for under 200 smackers


This one caught my eye...its around £176 and can apparently play bf2 on full,whatcha think?

why do you want nvidia so bad :S they don't make ati cards because they suck so much :S

The 7600GT is a good card and will run BF2 with most settings on high. I am going to be getting one so I would reccommend it...

Another 7800GT user here, I think s its a good all round card, plays BF2 very well.

Btw if your building your own computer, if you are not going to use dual graphics cards do not get a SLi motherboard as it will just be a waste of money that can be spent elsewhere.

When u say i need two slots for that card Jimmy do you mean i need to get a crossfire mobo.

No its just cos its a very fat board, its got a big cooling assembly on it so you need the pcie slot for it and the next adjacent slot on the mobo.

the 7600gt is a good card and costs less than a 7800gt and performs not as well but still good. thats a good buy. the 7900gt is probably a little more than 200pounds but is much better. the 7800gt is good, and is better than the 7600 so if you can afford it and find it go witht that.
