ATI tray tools question

Hey guys, I just have a quick question.... Is it OK to have ATI tray tools installed along with the default ATI control panel? I was wondering this because I'm getting an X850XT and the default fan speeds are not high enough so I was going to install Tray Tools to manually boost them up.

I made a post about it a long time ago but nobody responded... But it did get buried pretty fast so I don't think anyone really had a chance to see it.

you might have to use another program, but im not an ATi user so I dont know. look it up on google is my best advice.

There's no reason why it shouldn't work. I prefer ATITool though. It has a better gui and is faster to use.

Ok, I'm using ATI traytools now with my X850XT and the ATI drivers. Everytime I restart my computer the fan table gets reset. This is extremely annoying as I have to manually punch all the numbers back in. I have the box checked that says start profile on startup, but it still doesn't work.... anyone know how to fix this?

Use ATITool.

OK!!!! I have a FIX!!!!!!!! I'll find it and post back in a second!!

EDIT: OK, you have to follow this exact procedure or else it won't work.

Set clock speeds,
Set fan speeds,
Check: "Include in profile"
Save it to a profile.
Check: "Select profile on startup"
Hit OK button.
