another memory question

I asked a question yesterday about my ram which was sorted thx :) But just another quick one. I have 2 sticks of 512mb ddr 3200 an just got a 1gig stick but its 2700 will it still work|??? any answers much appreciated

yes and it will all run at the speed of the 2700

And it will run at the single data rate, not as DDR.

They will all run as DDR, they will not run as dual channel...

What motherboard is it? Im most scenerios you will be forced to run single channel, but some chipsets... mainly the nForce 2 will run dual channel with 3 sticks of ram if you position them correctly.

yes, they will all run at 2700, and most likely not in dual channel (3 sticks, 2x512 and 1x1GB shouldnt work). I would suggest making it pc3200.
