water cooling

so my air cooled cpu fan is not really cutting it anymore but i doubt its that bad

it idles in the low 30's and under load its in the low 40's but yesterday after a

few hours of bf2 it was close to 50 and crashed i am goin to try it again lata to

see it it does it again. so my question is does anyone know a good water

cooling system that isnt to expensive for a amd 4400 x2 any info will be great

Maybe you should check to see if your heatsinks are clogged with dust first...

well if ur using the standard heatsink then no wonder you have problems.

By a good third party heat sink. I use the zalman falt1y its an amaizing heatsink and keeps my processor in the 30s.

If you want to go water cooling then uve got to remeber it demands alittle more up keep than fans!

i got a gigabyte 3d rocket cooler and yea i should stop being lazy and blow the

comp out damn laziness to hell

Low 50s is nothing to worry about. Low 60s is.

It might not have crashed due to your CPU. It could have been the ram, or the PSU for instance. 50*C is highish, but not enough to get an application to crash, at least not at stock settings.

Water cooling is going to cost on the low "ghetto" end $100+ and usually kits and all the essentials are in the $250-$350 USD range from what I understand.

A good air cooling heatsink will set you back $30-$50, but you should probably first isolate the problem and make sure its the CPU. From what you have described it could easily be the ram, or maybe the video card or even PSU.

If your overclocking then that would also be a no brainer for potential problems.

I was playing Battlefield2 1 month with temperature of my PC 86*C after 2 hours of play. And nothing happen everything works fine.

You'll need a decent pump, radiator and CPU block (and tubing of course). I recommend products from Swiftech, Danger Den and radiators from Thermochill. Swiftech has a good pump called MCP55 or something similar, I forget, and it works well and is reliable. They also sell a very good waterblock for the CPU called 'Storm'.
If you want a very powerful pump look up "Iwaki" on Google and see if you like them. Very powerful, and quite expensive - top quality and performance though.

As for radiator; I currently own a dual one from Swiftech which is cooling my CPU and VGA and it does it very well, but if you want high-end look at Thermochill's products, especially their latest radiator (PA.120.1 / 2 / 3).
