    Graphics card problem

While I am playing BF2 the screen will all of the sudden get look like the colors melting across the screen. I then get an error saying my graphics card had stopped responding and that it was rebooted. It takes the game a couple of minutes to come back, but it for the most does come back. It will happen every 30-40 minutes of play time.

    pentium D 820 - 2.8 ghz
    1 g ram
    raedon x700 256

I d/l the latest drivers for my graphics, but the problem persists.

Sounds like a heat problem. Are you overclocked? You might try turning down your graphic settings and seeing if that helps. Also consider opening your case and blowing out any dust bunnies. I just did that with a system I built last June and you'd be surprised how much dust gets into a well ventilated system in a hurry.

you MIGHT just need a new card, sometimes cards just die. might be a mobo problem too, or ones mentioned above my post...
