Joystick - Major Twist Calibration Problems

Alright, so I'm fairly new to BF2. I've been playing for a couple of days, learning about the game and getting myself a couple of unlocks . I've started flying - mostly jet at the moment - so I got myself a joystick which is "Logic3 PC Pro Flight Joystick". I calibrated it and played around with controls, and decided to put turn (A and D in WASD) on the twist of the joystick. When I got into a plane (on a local server, I wasn't stealing planes online :p), it veered uncontrollably to the left and into the water, thus killing me. I looked at the windows calibration thingy in Control Panel and found this when the joystick was at it's normal position:

The bar to the left (Z Rotation) should be 50% without being turned (I assume), and it's 4%:

I've tried as much as I could think of and searched for hours on google, and I couldn't find a thing. There are no special drivers, the manual says it uses the windows drivers which is why I used the calibrator in control panel.

Someone please help me! I can provide other information if needed.

Not much you can do, thats what you should expect from a £10 joystick sorry to say.

you could try removeing the drivers then reinstalling them.
