Re: Which Video Card is Better?
well from scores I have seen I would recommened the x1400, just because (this is why I PERSONALLY would)
1. I havent realy seen too many 7400 benchmarks
2. the x1300 is a very good desktop card, so the x1400 must be somewhat better, and the x1300 is pretty good. (people can use it for high settings)
3. the 7300 (the card right before the 7400) sucks gigantic wang.
thats why I would. of course I havent seen a comparison chart yet or even a specs sheet because they are mobile devices.
and as for getting high settings with t hat 7400, its possible i guess, if you tweak or something....maybe.Comment

Re: Which Video Card is Better?
Sorry, but whatever gave you that idea? All the x1300 basically is is an updated version of the x300, and that card is known to blow chunks. from what I can find, the x1400 is pretty much the laptop equivalent of the x1300.the x1300 is a very good desktop card
Don't think you're going to find anyone that will disagree with you on that. You can find the limited bit of info that Nvidia has on the Go 7300/7400 here, the 7300 (the card right before the 7400) sucks gigantic wang.
Got love that fact that both use that wonderful thing known as Turbocache. Anyway if you take the x1400 to be the laptop version of the x1300, and the Go 73/7400 to be on par with the desktop 7300, then you can get a good idea of how each will perform from here,
Too bad they didn't use the 7300 in that roundup, but given what everyone knows about the card, you can pretty much take what the vanilla 6600 gets and divide by 2.Comment
