None of those are good enough for bf2, even at minimum settings, you should get a 7800GTX atleast, goodluck.

<edit> nvm, I am a little out of my sarcasm today, all 3 cards can run bf2 with settings over medium/high.

hehe... :P buy the x800 gto.... x1300 and x1600 have 128bit interfaces... correct me if im wrong.... and you can overclock the hell out of the x800 gto...

probably not no, i have an overclocked x850 i can run mostly high single player i can run 4x AA but in multiplayer that has to come down to 2x aa with some other details turned down abit.

it also depends on the other specs of ur system.

i would tend to agree but i still would go for a x1600 as it... if i am not wrong, support PS3 and VS3 compared to the PS2 and VS2 of the x800 GTO and since most if not all of the current game make use of those the x1600 will performe better in those game

x800 = phat OC'ing...
x1600 = newer technology = lasting longer with newer games...

My conclusion is the x1600... But i would recomend either the 7600Gt or x1800GTO if you can afford them.. they are in the real "sweet spot" of the market at the moment..

x800 out performs the x1600, numbers aren;t everything ati always do this

x1600 has SM 3.0, so if you are going to be keeping it a while and going to play more games in the future as they come out I would get that. if you are only gonna be playing like bf2 and maybe some COD2 just go with the x800.

its not a question of number its a question of supporting newer shader technologie you are right in vs2 and ps2 game the 800 is better but since whe are going towards vs3 and ps3 more and more and eventualy in a near futur ps4 and vs4 the x1600 is going to become a much better choice

so basicly for short term the x800 is a better choice due to its faster core and for long term the x1600 is a better choice as it supports more recent technology but it is definitly true that if you can spare a bit more of money a 7600 or a x1800 would be a better long term choice but whe must all keep in mind that ounce dx10 starts to make its debut most of the current core will have a hard time kepping up with the demands of futur fps game

little is known about this mobo but the spec seem pretty good but then again the upcoming am2 socket with supports for ddr2 seems to offer promissing performance boost and there right around the corner

asus or dfi or abit those are the three choice i stick to then it all depends on the cash you have to put on it just dont buy a sli mobo if you dont plan on going sli the same stand for crossfire
