The Logitech G15 keyboard or the Saitek Eclipse are great for gaming. I bet the majority of the people will agree with me :)

The Zboard is a good one, for specific games that they have keypads for

The Logitech G15 is a very good keyboard as well as for gaming, and has a LCD for computer info.

The Saitek gamers keyboard (mine) is a good keyboard, but the only really gaming factor is the lil programmable keypad that ios separate, that gets in the way -_-

ZBoard would be a good choice but only if you play A LOT of BF2.

LOL. no. the zboard has the gamepad built in.
this is how those two work:
the game pad is separate connected device for people with a regular keyboard, but that kinda wanna soupe it up for gaming. it is just an extra lil tidbit that you can set next to your crappy computer.

the zboard is a full fledged keyboard that has ineter-changable keysets for different games (there are about 6 different sets so far). each set has a different configuration depending on the game, but even without the keyset, or with it (lets say, eh, bf2 keyset) it has the mini gamepad built in.

Personally I think that you dont get much better from keyboards, and that the only peropheral that really gets you any better at games in the mouse. but if you have a crappy keyboard no harm in dropping 40$ on a zboard (or is it 80?)

I have been using the ZBoard since it came out, with the Battlefield 2 limited edition keyset, since it FIRST came out, as shown here:

Although I have gotten quite used to the key layout and DO like it for that fact, I am now on my 3rd keyset...Reasons being:

Keys wear out kinda fast...Especially if you play 4 to 8 hours a day like I do...They start sticking and eventually fail...or stuck key failures in the midst of combat, finding yourself all of a sudden fighting an urge on the part of your character to run to the left all the time...LOL..."I SAID GO HERE, Soldier, who do you think is running this show!!!"

It is somewhat delicate and lightly made, but, for 49 bucks, who cares...

Paint markings wear off the keys with use too, but, again, not a big issue, since by that time, you should know those functions without having to look...

Not a bad buy, really, just noted that with heavy use they tend to not hold up well...

Not arguing any points here, just adding perspective of a current user...

If you like the zboard but are afraid of replacing keysets, etc... Check out the ideazon MERC. Looks pretty good, though I don't have one.

I like that...I will look into it further...We have a store up in Atlanta called "Fry's electronics..SELLS everything PC...Even got my Razer Copperhead 2 days after they went public, right off the store shelf...I will check it out, sure they will have one if it's alreqady released...Post the details back here then...Thanks for the input...

Saw one of these on tv, you can spill stuff on it and then wash it in the sink....haha...probs no good for bf2 buts its cool

or what about one of these, its a projector keyboard..lol just put it on your desk...

Where I work we have 5 of those rubber keyboards, they are okay but pure crap for anything other than basic typing. As for the projected keyboard, it's way too slow and innaccurate for gaming.

yeah, we have a store here called Fry's too. lol its a huge chain company. They have A LOT of stuff, its like a real life newegg, except their prices are either Higher than newegg, or A LOT higher than newegg. The only thing that they lack is Cases (they have a choice from like 12 different cases and thats it) and video cards. Though they are working on that. I got a bunch of gift cards to frys for my bday, they are wasting away fast though....

I think the MERC is the ugliest keyboard/thing known to man. Im sorry thats just my opinion.
