Ok, i know its probably a noobert question but what is the best kind of 512x2 ram I to get? I just pasted my 3d mark06 spec sheet. Please help i just want to add another gig of ram to my system and do it for around $100. Thx:p

What is your motherboard model? Plan on overclcoking?

I posted all of my motherboard specs and I might oc but i dont really know right now it doesn't sound very easy.

oh is there any way to find out what kind of ram i can use. if it helps the motherboard came with my compaq presario sr1750nx. What the hell does DIMM mean? and what info do you exactly need to help me?

You need 184 Pin, DDR. You won't be overclocking with that computer so I wouldn't worry too much about what kind you get. Corsair Value select is good and pretty cheap. DIMM mean Dual Inline Memory Module (or stick of memory). How much RAM do you have, and how much are you looking to upgrade to?

I have 2x512(1 gig dual channel) right now and I want to add another two sticks to get a grand total of 2 gigs of RAM and I would like to to do it for under $100 dollars. I really appreciate the help
