Destiny Beta Access is First on PlayStation Platforms
Bungie just revealed that the first people to play the beta for Destiny will be PlayStation owners. This includes both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Other platforms (Xbox 360 and Xbox One) will gain access to the beta afterwards. -

Sony Acknowledges a 0.4% Failure Rate for Initial PlayStation 4 Shipments
Earlier today it was revealed that some early adopters of the PS4 were experiencing some technical issues, which included hardware freezing and failure to download updates. Sony was quick to respond to the worries by saying only 0.4% of the the total initial shipments were being reported as faulty. It's not quite up to the dreaded RROD for the Xbox 360 launch consoles but some early PlayStation 4 owners are already reporting system failures.
A user at NeoGAF said that they tried to update their console and it froze on them.
