  • Updated Anti-Cheat Measures Allegedly Released by Valve for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Allegedly, on December 31, updated anti-cheat methods were rolled out to various Counter-Strike: Global Offensive servers. Namely, it appears as though the servers that Valve run themselves were updated while other dedicated servers were not yet updated with this "mysterious" update.

Total Gaming Network's Biggest Disappointments of 2013

Here we are again, the end of another year. The end of another 365 days of game releases. We just had the added benefit this year of also enjoying the launch of a new generation of game consoles. Games announced for 2014 and beyond are already looking and sounding amazing and there is no shortage of both AAA and Indie titles to enjoy right now! When you think about it, we haven't seen a massive launch of a new generation of consoles since 2005 and 2006. 2013 was, to put it mildly, a grea...

Is The Elder Scrolls Online the Next Star Wars: The Old Republic?

Reliable industry sources have revealed that the internal cost of development for The Elder Scrolls Online has already surpassed $200 million. The last MMO to hit such lofty costs was Star Wars: The Old Republic, which reportedly cost EA from $200 million (as a low estimate) to upwards of $500 million to develop.

We all remember how well that went for that title, don't we?

That particular tweet has been removed, though we are unsure as to why. This is merely s...

  • Classic Fallout Games Removed from GOG Following Interplay License Expiration

More sad news to ring in the new year as it was revealed earlier that the old Fallout titles have been removed from sites like GOG. The reason once again is due to Interplay no longer owning the rights to the franchise once the year came to an end. All rights now belong to Bethesda, which has so far not come to any sort of agreement with GOG for distribution rights.
Today, we bid farewell to the legendary post-apocalyptic 2D classics. Due to circumstances beyond our control

  • Deadpool Pulled from Steam, Xbox Live Marketplace, and PlayStation Network Following License Expiration

It looks as though the Deadpool game may be harder to come by as of just a few hours ago tonight. It appears as though Activision's license for the franchise expired and has now been removed from all digital retailers across all platforms. A similar fate befell the 007 franchise at the end of 2012 when Activision lost the publishing rights to that franchise. If you failed to pick up Deadpool during any of the holiday sales, you can still pick it up at places like Amazon. However, i...
