Update: These slides are allegedly from a presentation Valve gave three years ago in 2011. It stands to reason that what we see in these screenshots then are already implemented, at least in part, in the current iterations of the Source Engine. The same Source version that we see at work in games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The beta for Titanfall is slated to begin February 14 according to French news site, Xboxygen.com.

This may be the least surprising news we're posting today but it seems as though Far Cry 4 is in development at Ubisoft Shanghai. A recent CV listing on LinkedIn shows that the studio is working on the "next" Far Cry game, which is presumed to be Far Cry 4.
Hell, maybe it's Blood Dragon 2, which would also be just as nice to see. According to VG247, this isn't the first mention of a new Far Cry game being in development.

Gears of War is officially going to remain in the Xbox camp as Microsoft revealed today that they have acquired the rights to the franchise. Judge Throws Out $11 Million Award Given to Original John Madden Programmer
Back in April of 2013, a lawsuit was filed against EA and EA Sports from one of the original programmers for the John Madden Football series, Robin Antonick. They claimed that EA never paid him for his work which was apparently copied for future games from his original work.

It was revealed throughout the week that while Square Enix was targeting 30FPS for Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the PS4 version actually runs at 60FPS. SOE Shutting Down Four Online Titles by July
In the coming months, Sony Online Entertainment will be shutting down four online titles.
