Valve 'Days Away' From Releasing a Standard Interface for Virtual Reality Controllers
Brian Coomer at Valve says that the company is mere "days away" from releasing a VR software dev kit that will "give game makers a standard way to provide an interface for VR controllers."
The kit will allegedly be coming during the Steam Dev Days conference taking place January 14 through January 15 in Seattle. Coomer didn't say much about the development kit or provide many details, but he did shed some light on Valve's interest in VR and the Oculus Rift.

Evolve Officially Announced from the Left 4 Dead Team
Turtle Rock Studios, the team that brought you the original Left 4 Dead is working hard on their next title, Evolved. So far, not much is really known about the game but it is known that the game is planned to be released this Fall for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Earlier today, a little "snafu" on the Steam stats page may have accidentally revealed some unannounced games.

SOE Announces Unified Subscription Model for Online Games
In the past, Sony Online Entertainment had separate subscription fees for different games. Earlier today, they announced that they will soon have a unified subscription model. That means that one fee per month will grant players access to all of SOE's subscription based games.
