Take-Two is Having a Super Great Year as Grand Theft Auto V Surpasses 32.5 Million Units Sold
The financial report for Take-Two's "Fiscal Third Quarter 2014" was released today. I won't bore you with the finer details. All you need to take away here is that Take-Two pulled in GAAP net revenues of $1.86 billion. That's compared to their previous quarter where they only pulled in $415.8 million.

AMD Releases Catalyst 14.1 Beta Drivers with Mantle Support - Battlefield 4 Framerate Gains Benchmarked

Trove - Hands-on Gameplay Video from the Alpha
I recently got into the Trove alpha from Trion Worlds. It's got a look similar to Minecraft and Cube World but the gameplay is quite different from both.

Dead Island and Toy Soldiers are February's Games with Gold Titles on Xbox 360
Major Nelson has detailed the two titles that will become free through the month of February as part of Xbox Live's Games with Gold offering.
The first game is Dead Island and will be free from February 1 through February 15.

Rumor: PlayStation 4 to Receive Native PS1 and PS2 Emulation
A "well placed source" close to Eurogamer told them that the PlayStation 4 may receive an update to natively emulate PlayStation and PlayStation 2-era games. This is different to the streaming, cloud-based emulation service, PlayStation Now, which will provide backwards compatibility for PlayStation 3 titles.
