Watch Almost an Hour of Death Stranding Gameplay

A lot of gameplay footage that may finally provide a lot of answers.

The marketing for the Kojima Productions game, Death Stranding, has left consumers with more questions than answers. It's a game from the mind of Hideo Kojima, so of course the marketing was going to be odd. The problem was, there are a lot of people that just have no idea about what the game was even about even after the numerous trailers.

Maybe sitting down and watching 50 minutes of gameplay will help clear up that confusion. If that doesn't work, then maybe a breakdown of the gameplay footage from...

Final Fantasy VII Remake Tokyo Game Show 2019 Trailer

The trailer is at the bottom after these boring words.

Square Enix showed off an all new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake this week at the Tokyo Game Show. The new trailer offers a fresh look at gameplay, the slums of Midgar, and a peak at the mini-games and summons. Midgar is home to the Shinra Electric Power Company. This kind of totally evil company is in conflict with Avalanche, a resistance group fighting to keep their planet alive. You will also get your first look at some of the Shinra operatives known as The Turks.

Square Enix also included their new artwork...

Cube World is Coming to Steam

Let me take you back to the year 2013...

In 2013, a little game called Cube World came out in an "alpha" release. It was a cute, stylized adventure-RPG that offered a ton of freedom, battles, exploration, and more. A big appeal of the alpha was being able to have all of these adventures with your friends in one world. To its credit, the limited content of the alpha was quite enjoyable but the promise of bigger and better was always just around the corner. The problem came when it was just never updated! Eventually the developer went dark.

We would sometimes...

Iceborne Expansion Announced for Monster Hunter World

In addition to some lovely crossover with The Witcher, Capcom also announced the new Iceborne expansion today for Monster Hunter World. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is a major expansion that Capcom is working on for a Fall 2019 release. The good news here is that this expansion is coming out at the same time for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. The bad news is that the PC version probably won't but they'll tell us more about that in the future. Bummer. This new expansion will feature the obvious additions of new quest ranks, new locales, new monsters, new moves, and new gear. It also continues the story started in Monste...

VR has made great progress, and itís set to continue doing so

VR Technology Will Change the Gaming World Virtual Reality technology was spoken about widely before it actually arrived. It used to be referred to on television shows as an invention likely to come along in the future and change the world. Fortunately for you, I have a full recap of the winners here. Right off the bat, you'll want to know that God of War won the Game of the Year award. It actually came as quite the surprise given how most of the other awards went to Red Dead Redemption 2. The Esports Athlete of the Year went to the always entertaining SonicFox. He went on stage to accept his reward in full fox suit and gave a passionate speech. Before departing the stage, he had just one more thing to say.

  • Ashen Released on Epic Games Store and Xbox

Ashen Released on Epic Games Store and Xbox

Try to stick with me on this one. Ashen was released on December 7, 2018 for the Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store. It is a console timed exclusive, which means it "should" hit other consoles like the PlayStation 4 at some point in the future. It "may" also be a timed exclusive for the Epic Games Store, which means it will come to other digital retailers on the PC at some point.

Why are we not sure? Because every publisher and developer are being cheeky as hell when it comes to this whole "exclusive" thing with the newly launched Epic Games Store. See, Epic tossed around a lot of money to get "exclusive" releases on their platform. Ashen is one of those games despite it being promoted on Steam, with its own Steam Store page,...
