Seth Rogan to Direct a Sony Film Based on the Nintendo and Sega Console Wars of the 90s
That headline is mind blowing. Funnyman Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg will write and direct a film based on the 1990s console wars between Sega and Nintendo.
Sony is the studio behind the film after having picked up the rights to Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo and the Battle That Defined a Generation which is written by Black Harris. Divinity: Original Sin Pushed Back to Spring

Dean Hall to Leave Bohemia and DayZ After 2014
Once 2015 rolls around, Dean Hall will no longer be with Bohemia or DayZ. The creator of the wildly successful mod turned stand-alone title says that he will stick with the studio until the end of the year, at which point he will leave to begin his own development studio.

Gearbox Suing 3D Realms and Interceptor Over Unauthorized Use of Duke Nukem IP
Gearbox has filed a lawsuit against 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment over unauthorized use of the Duke Nukem IP. Gearbox picked up the rights to the Duke Nukem IP when 3D Realms sold it back in 2010. Allegedly, 3D Realms was quietly talking with developers and trying to make it seem like they never actually sold the IP.

To those worried that the second half of Double Fine's Broken Age wouldn't be made, you can rest easy. Tim Schafer has confirmed that funding for Broken Age Act 2 has been secured and that the second act will be completed.
