Sony Pictures Registers Domains for BioShock Movie
Sony Pictures was discovered to have recently registered three new domains pointing towards a BioShock movie. As with most of these cases, it could simply be an attempt to lock down the domains and may not indicate any actual film is being worked on. However, it doesn't hurt to keep that hope alive. Sony Pictures now holds the rights to BioShock-Movie.com, BioShock-Movie.net, and Bio-Shock.net. This is yet another in a long string of potential BioShock film adaptations that were... -

New 30 Minute Gameplay Video for Wolfenstein: The New Order
If you perhaps missed the latest Twitch stream for Wolfenstein: The New Order, then you missed out on about 30 minutes of fresh gameplay footage.
Fret not as the gameplay footage has made its way to YouTube and can be viewed below. If you don't want to be spoiled by absolutely anything, you should probably avoid watching most, if not all, of the video.
This gameplay footage shows off some early levels of the game, similar to what was shown recently at PAX East... -

Red Orchestra 2 Update Adds New Transports, Gametype, Map, and a New Update System
Fans of Unreal Engine titles are already well acquainted with how terrible it is to update those games. We're talking about multiple GB updates even when something super minor is changed. It's the nature of the engine. That is, until now.
With today's update to Red Orchestra 2, Tripwire has incorporated the "Brewing System" into the game. That means that after today's massive 8.5GB update, future updates should be significantly smaller in size, say only a few hundred MB. In addition... -

Some Legitimate Elder Scrolls Online Accounts Incorrectly Banned
Bethesda has gone on record with admitting that they made a few mistakes in a recent wave of account bans from The Elder Scrolls Online. The mass bans were carried out against alleged gold spammers, botters, and exploiters, but unfortunately a few legitimate players were caught up in that wave.
As part of our continuing effort to combat gold spammers, botters and exploiters, we recently banned a number of accounts. After several players appealed, we were able to investigate the matter... -

Garry's Mod LUA Exploit Leads to Spread of "Coughing Virus"
Earlier today, some malicious code started to spread through many Garry's Mod servers. This code forced a server to push a .dll file to a user's computer. This would then spam the word "cough" to friends of the affected player and also through in-game chat. It would also change the affected user's name and also append exclamation points to the front of affected servers (so as to appear first on the server browser when sorting by name). This seems to have been the extent of the damages ca... -

Battlefield 1942 is Free on Origin... Again
Once again, EA is just giving away Battlefield 1942 through Origin. Last month EA gave out Dead Space as part of their new On the House program. This month it's Battlefield 1942 that's free, though their On the House page still lists Dead Space. So either this is a non-On the House free game and a limited time offer, or it's going to be an On the House deal, or it's a new permanent price reduction, or I have no idea what I'm talking about. No matter what, just go get the game since ... -

Final Fantasy 3 Might Come to the PC
A listing on Germany's USK database shows that there might be plans to bring Final Fantasy III to the PC. The rating shows that the game has been approved for persons six years old and up.
The original release of the game happened about 24 years ago now (I bet some of you feel really old right about now). It's seen a variety of re-releases across a number of different platforms. Let's just hope this is a legitimate filing and that we'll start to see this and more Final... -

MLB 14 The Show - "Baseball is Better on PS4" Trailer
Though it is already out on the PlayStation 3, apparently baseball is better on the PlayStation 4. Here is the latest trailer for the PS4 version of MLB 14 The Show.
MLB 14 The Show is slated for release on May 6 for the PS4. Outside of R.B.I. Baseball 14, MLB 14 The Show is the only baseball title coming out on any platform this year.... -

Titanfall and PlayStation 4 Top the NPD Charts for March
Sure, Microsoft may have sold 311,000 Xbox One consoles to retailers in March, but the PlayStation 4 still sold more units. This is according to the latest NPD figures and a breakdown from GI.biz.
On the hardware side of things, the PlayStation 4 "led hardware sales despite the Xbox One exclusive Titanfall topping the games chart." That means the PS4 sold above the 311,000 units that Microsoft moved with the Xbox One and managed to do so despite the release of Titanfal... -

Xbox One Has Shipped 5 Million Units to Retailers
Microsoft has revealed that the Xbox One has shipped over 5 million units to retailers since its launch. That again is a figure that has shipped to retailers but not necessarily sold to consumers.
There is quite a big difference between those two things. However, beyond that, Microsoft has also noted that March was a strong month for the Xbox One. They sold 311,000 units through the month, while the Xbox 360 sold 111,000 units. They also note that, on average, there are 2... -
