Final Fantasy 3 Might Come to the PC

A listing on Germany's USK database shows that there might be plans to bring Final Fantasy III to the PC. The rating shows that the game has been approved for persons six years old and up.

The original release of the game happened about 24 years ago now (I bet some of you feel really old right about now). It's seen a variety of re-releases across a number of different platforms. Let's just hope this is a legitimate filing and that we'll start to see this and more Final...

Titanfall and PlayStation 4 Top the NPD Charts for March

Sure, Microsoft may have sold 311,000 Xbox One consoles to retailers in March, but the PlayStation 4 still sold more units. This is according to the latest NPD figures and a breakdown from GI.biz.

On the hardware side of things, the PlayStation 4 "led hardware sales despite the Xbox One exclusive Titanfall topping the games chart." That means the PS4 sold above the 311,000 units that Microsoft moved with the Xbox One and managed to do so despite the release of Titanfal...

Xbox One Has Shipped 5 Million Units to Retailers

Microsoft has revealed that the Xbox One has shipped over 5 million units to retailers since its launch. That again is a figure that has shipped to retailers but not necessarily sold to consumers.

There is quite a big difference between those two things. However, beyond that, Microsoft has also noted that March was a strong month for the Xbox One. They sold 311,000 units through the month, while the Xbox 360 sold 111,000 units. They also note that, on average, there are 2...

VHS Tapes Used to Achieve the Low-fi Look in Alien: Isolation

The above video from GameSpot for Alien: Isolation shows off how the team managed to achieve "low-fi sci-fi." That is to say, the team actually recorded game elements and UI elements to VHS tape, messed with the cables, imported that back into the game environment and what resulted was pure 1970's magic.

    That's actually really awesome....

    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.

Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?
