It's about damn time this game was officially announced to the public, that's all I really have to say. Tripwire Interactive, by way of PC Gamer, has blasted the lid off of Killing Floor 2. From the looks of things, we're headed to a version of Paris that has certainly seen better days. You know, days where it wasn't on fire and there weren't disfigured specimens roaming the streets. Some hot new features to look out for in Killing Floor 2? Well, first off, the team plans on making g... -

Dark Souls 2 PC Review
Prepare to die all over again thanks to the PC release of Dark Souls 2 by From Software. Now, in thinking back to Total Gaming Network's review of the first Dark Souls for the PC, it was largely positive. We had a few issues here and there but most of the major complaints were alleviated thanks to a little community made tool called DSfix. If the original Dark Souls did not have DSfix, the first outing for the franchise on the PC would have been a complete disaster. Thankfully, From Softwa... -

Nintendo to Develop New Hardware for Emerging Markets
Nintendo has gone on record as saying that they will develop completely new hardware revisions for emerging markets. This is in lieu of simply selling cheaper versions of its existing hardware such as the Wii U and 3DS. This news comes from Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata (via Bloomberg).
“We want to make new things, with new thinking rather than a cheaper version of what we currently have,” Iwata said in Tokyo today. “The product and price balance must be made from scratch.”... -

Nintendo Posts a $230 Million Loss for the Year
With declining sales of the 3DS and Wii U plus a few large, single investments into things like R&D, Nintendo is looking at a $230 million loss for their fiscal year.
For the full year, Nintendo reported net sales of ¥571 billion ($5.62 billion), down 10 percent year-over-year and well shy of the ¥590 billion ($5.81 billion) it forecast in January. The company also reported a net loss of ¥23.22 billion ($230 million), better than the ¥25 billion ($250 million) loss forecast, but... -

Today, Dualshockers received reports from two separate sources on what Sony may be showing off this year at E3 2014. As with all things related to unconfirmed reports from anonymous sources, be sure to take the following list with a huge grain of salt.
Dualshockers notes that the items listed below in bold were mentioned by both sources and may be more valid than those items not given the bold treatment.
The article continues on to mention that their source isn'... -

Activision Spending $500 Million on Developing and Promoting Bungie's Destiny
According to a report from Reuters, Activision plans on spending a mere $500 million on developing and promoting Bungie's Destiny. That figure alone has the potential to break some industry records if everything pans out and goes anywhere near the $500 million figure that's being tossed around.
Naturally, this figure was revealed by everybody's favorite CEO, Bobby Kotick, during the Milken conference in Los Angeles this past week.
Investors hope that "Destiny," scheduled... -

Destiny Beta Slated to Begin in July
According to a slide from a recent shareholder meeting, Activision revealed that the beta for Destiny will kick off at some point in July. This will give Bungie and Activision less than two months to make any last minute adjustments to the game prior to its launch on September 9.
You can check out the full presentation for yourself right here. Most of it focuses on financials and probably won't be of much interest to you anyway.... -

According to Jason Evangelho of Forbes, Deep Silver is primed to reveal two new, unannounced AAA titles at E3 2014.
There is absolutely no other information provided that could even hint at what these titles may be. Some speculate that at least one of them is a new Saints Row title. Others are keeping their fingers crossed for a new entry in the Red Faction franchise.

Valve Offering Refunds on Earth: Year 2066
Earth: Year 2066 was not a good game. Sure, it was still an Early Access release but it was disturbingly bad even for that stage of release. It didn't help that the developer constantly deleted threads and posts from the Steam Community section for the game.
Chris, an employee at Valve, stepped in today to announce that they are issuing refunds to those who purchased the game and have pulled the game from Early Access.
On Steam, developers make their own decisions about promotion,...
