Sony's Jim Ryan Reportedly Said His Goal is to 'Block Your Merger' in Closed Door Meeting with Activision

The CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment reportedly had some choice words during a meeting with Activision.

It has been a ridiculous day for Sony when it comes to new details that have come out about the company's opposition to the Microsoft and Activision Blizzard merger.

First, a new report from The Verge's Tom Warren shared some key pieces of information from documents (PDF download) that were recently submitted to the UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)....

Review: The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition

An easy purchase for new players but maybe a hard sell for existing owners.

It was not until I reinstalled the original PC release of The Outer Worlds that I was able to really appreciate the improvements made with the release of The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition. Initially, I believed that this looked exactly like the same game that I had played on PC back in late 2019 when it first came out.

"I'm just not seeing what makes this Spacer's Choice Edition worth...

Battlefield 2042 Season One Delayed Until Summer

The developers need extra time to try to fix the literal everything that is wrong with the game first.

That means there will not be any new maps, weapons, gadgets, Specialists, or whatever until at least late June. While there wasn't really any official date previously announced, the running theory is that Season One would...

IO Interactive Apologizes for Scuffed Hitman 3 Steam Release

Everyone is getting a free upgrade for a limited time.

When Hitman 3 finally launched on Steam, it was a bit of a mess. There were a number of confusing purchasing options, especially for those that already owned the first two games. There were no sale prices as is common (but not required) for fans having to wait a year for the Epic Games Store exclusive period to come to an end. There were also some weird choices in the purchasing options themselves such as the fact that the Seven...

Monthly Poll

  • Poll: What Platform Do you Game on the Most?
    by Shawn Zipay
Do you prefer consoles? PC? Maybe mobile is your preferred platform?

This month's poll is a bit generic if only because I really don't know what to ask right now and this is the easiest thing that came to mind. The question is simple: Which sort of platform do you prefer to play games on?

Do you like playing on consoles? Do you prefer to play games on PC? What about mobile games? Maybe you prefer to spend most of your time on your phone playing this, that, or the other....
Consoles (Ex: PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, etc.)
    PC (Including Steam Deck)
Mobile (Ex: iOS or Android phones/tablets)
Standalone VR (Ex: Meta Quest 2)
Other (Ex: No preference or maybe you play only at arcades or those handheld Tiger Electronic games)
